In my play-through I’m battania and vlandia has been my unspoken ally the whole game, I’ve destroyed the empire and sturgia so far and the vlandian armies have saved my party more than once. Vlandia and battania strong together

Got a really strange campaign going right now. I joined Vlandia and we were steamrolling. Derthy gave me half of Battania for my toubles (3 cities, 2 castles). Then I sabotaged Vlandia, drained influence and passed all the bad polices before leaving. Then Vlandia stayed pretty contained before I wiped them. In the meantime however, the Southern Empire (you read that right) took over almost the entire east of the world, reducing the two other empires to only 4 cities between the two, and took over most of the Khuzait lands, all while holding back the Aserai and Sturgia. Never seen the Southern Empire be so incredibly effective before, and they aren't going quietly.
