Crosby's biggest goal? Without doubt, in Vancouver at the 2010 Olympics. Transfixed a whole country.

Love how any top ten Crosby highlight videos always have different highlights

Crosby has been the first legendary player who’s career I’ve been able to watch front to back. I still remember seeing him for Team Canada at the World Juniors and for Rimouski in the Q. It’s been a heck of a ride. And he’s been a great role model throughout.

That one hand backhand while going full speed after splitting the defense is almost inconceivable in difficulty.

One of the best players of all time. He's done it all and won it all.

People forget how good Crosby was before his 1st concussion. He had scored 51 goals the year before and had 32 goals in just 41 games (pace for over 60 goals) then the tragedy struck. He's never been the same since but even still at 85% diminished Crosby, he was still the best player in the NHL by far for many years. People also forget that by the time he was 24 years old, he had already won everything there was to win: Stanley Cup, Olympic Gold, World Hockey Gold, youngest player ever to reach 100 points, winning the Art Ross becoming the youngest player in any major sport in North America to lead his league in scoring (the only teenager to ever do it), a Hart Trophy (MVP), Lester B. Pearson (most outstanding player), youngest captain to ever win a stanley cup, Maurice Richard Rocket Trophy (most goals)....all of this by the age of 24 and he wasn't even in his prime yet. We were about to see a whole other level from him in his 6th year when he was on pace to set new career highs in almost every category.

Pre-concussion Crosby was probably one of the top 5 greatest players ever in the NHL, certainly better than McDavid is at the same timeline. Post-concussion Crosby was only able to put up 2 more 100 point seasons for the rest of his career. He did go on to win 2 more Cups (more pending), more hardware including the Conn Smythe (Playoff MVP), so even a diminished Crosby was still the best player for many years. Even today, he's arguably still the best player (all around) as he's in the top 10 in NHL scoring this year. What a player.

its crazy that a handful of these are within recent years. even with age Sid still maintains that elite status and pulls of moves only most can dream of performing.

Impossible to build a top 10 for him. You need like a top 50. So many moments I was thinking of watching this that were left out.

Sid is definitely top 10 to ever play the game

that one handed backhand lifting the puck... how is that even possible, i'd understand on his shooting side, but backhand? seriously, how strong must his wrists be to be able to do that, that's ridiculously insane

I always forget that that sequence behind the goal wasn’t just some 4th line plug. That was Jason Spezza. Absolutely insane puck handling

Missing Sid’s comeback goal after his concussion

I use to be one of those people back in the day who just hated on Crosby but he is one of the best ever and by 2015 he really matured as a player and calmed down with some of the obnoxious antics and he’s easily one of the most humble and respectful individuals in the game off the ice

Connor McDavid was such a big Sid fan that he got to the NHL just so he could see Sid score that goal from that close

honestly those jerseys with the tan on the side were fire

O Captain, My Captain! Sid has been such an absolute joy to watch his whole career. I may have to take a day off work in mourning the day he retires. The whole city of Pittsburgh might.

What's amazing is that most of these clips are from the first two or three years of Crosby's career. Great choices here, but there are dozens more, too.
