20,000 Dimes Searched - Mint Error Found - Dime Time
I picked up some Dime Boxes and searched them in hopes of finding some face value silver in these boxes. Dimes have been tough this year so I wasn't too optimistic that I would score some silver but you never know what the boxes might produce. Let's see if we can find any silver, and get some more ugly dimes for the World's Worst Dime Album (this is Dime Hunt #10 for the Ugly Book)

I confirmed it with Ken Potter that this does appear to be partial mirror brokage from a struck piece of scrap. This is an early strike so probably a 2nd strike. Cool find Rob! Congrats!

That dime is a partial mirror brokage not a capped die strike. I am not sure if it is a brokage from struck scrap but I am checking into it. It is a fantastic error.

That's the best mint error I have ever seen and I've been collecting since 1962. That their coin should fetch a heap of cash. Send that bad boy in for grading. NICE FIND !!!

Great find I found a 1983 d copper penny in a penny roll I have a bag of 1959-1982s but a 1983 is rare it weighs the same as copper to
