Just settled lawyer got $37.500.
Medical Acct/future treatment got $45.000

Been at this a few years now. Finally no more medical treatments can improve my condition. But everything in my state is pre-calculated based on a forumla.
I think its criminal how you get zero compensation for driving to doctors for years. Your time and gas and maybe 5 years after your injured get a small payout.
In reality insurance makes it so much a pain in the butt that you lose the will to even keep fighting. If i hadnt gotten an attorney for sure would of given up.

my lawyer left the law firm and had 2 other lawyers since i filed my claim and been 5 years since i started this and just recently finally got an offer and my lawyer went higher then they accepted the counter offer and she went higher and almost doubled my original offer. she told me what happened and how i won and all and just need to wait for final documents to be sent over to read over them and esign everything and send it all back. everyone in my family said drop it and claim bankruptcy and start new again but i held strong with it and came up winning after 2 doctors said nothing to be done to fix my neck issue and 2 slap tears since i have uncontrollable seizures. was told nothing can happen because i can fall and ruin the surgeries if and when i were fall randomly and drop into a seizure. after that was said took about 3 months later and finished negotiating
