I remember learning of this case when I was 17, Junko’s age. I felt physically ill reading it. This is by far the most despicable, horrifying, and upsetting case I have read, or will ever read about. However, it’s a reminder to us all that the world can be a cruel place and humankind has the capability to do horrible things to others and nothing is off limits. For as long as I live, I and many others will never forget Junko Furuta’s tragic story. Thank you so much for making this video, Chris and Amy.

I'm too horrified to even cry almost. That poor little girl. Their justice system killed her twice and then some. I hope when she closed her eyes for the final time in this cruel world, she opened them to the most beautiful and peaceful place that can be imagined.

I listen to a lot of true crime, and I’ve come across the story of the Junko Furuta on a couple other YouTube channels before. It’s the absolute worst case of torture I’ve ever heard of in my life. I can stomach listening to a lot of things in the genre, but I can’t with this one. It’s a really upsetting case all around. RIP Junko. I get the sense from her photo that she was beautiful on the inside and out.
