The house has been rebuilt so it looks quite different. However the electric pole the perpetrators would climb to get into the second floor of the house hasn't changed a bit.

Residents today are irrelevant to the case however they must be aware about the incident as Japanese law mandates owners of stigmatized properties to notify when selling or renting them.

Filmed on 15th November, 2022. RIP Junko Furuta.

I’m a girl, and when I heard about every single thing that happened to her, I could almost feel it. It’s truly depressing how sick and twisted and heartless one can be 😢

The fact that one of the boys parents knew she was there and didn't help her is beyond sad I will never understand how parents can fear they kids

I lived in Tokyo for 9 years and visited the house before I left. Honestly, Japan is a beautiful country by the bystander apathy is appalling. I don’t believe for one second that the neighbours didn’t know what was going on, the street is so narrow and tiny and they must have heard her screams. RIP Jun chan, you’re not in pain anymore. ❤

If this was in my home country of scotland, the house would be demolished, and every rat involved would have been lynched by the entire country, and given exact same torture as that poor girl, shame on the Japanese people, why are they not doing anything and these people are walking about free, is disgusting

This isn’t the right house. The house was located next to the one photographed for this video. When you look at the street from the nearby park, the house would’ve been the second one on the right side. Nowadays, there are two tiny houses there (they might actually be just one house). The pole in front of them is the same pole from the 80s which can be seen in a Japanese documentary regarding the case. I used it as a reference to find the location when I was in Tokyo.
