Roam Mobility - Prepaid USA SIM Cards for International Travellers

For some people, flying on an airplane scares them while for others it’s the thought of planning a trip that stresses them out. What gets me nervous is knowing that when I return home, there is going to be a bill from my local phone provider with a long list of extremely high data roaming charges, SMS fees and phone charges wait for me.

Let me introduce you to Roam Mobility, a service I’ve used twice on visits to New York City. The service worked so well I reached out to them to see if they would send me a SIM card and data for an upcoming trip to a TBEX (Travel Blogger Exchange) conference in Corning, NY.

I used it in the past when Public Mobile didn't have roaming. It was the best experience ever. I didn't have to worry about data useage as it was 512mb per day. Used text and calls often to keep in contact with family. Now that I'm with Lucky Mobile and have no roaming I will be back to amazing roam Mobility service once again. Roam is the best option and best of all sim doesn't expire as long as you use it once per year

Good information. When I travel I get the local SIM cards, except in Europe because my SIM card works easily without roaming charge.

This is something quite helpful for anyone visiting USA for a few days. Instead of activating international roaming and incurring heavy charges, the prepaid USA SIM card is an excellent alternative.

I was surprised there was such a high charge between Canada and the USA, I thought there would be a system like Europe which is free roaming. As they haven't this looks like a good way to cut those costs especially with the amount of data we use these days.

Im currently using roam mobility in New York City and my experience is horrible. I paid for a data, talk and text plan. My Talk and text works fine. My data doesnt work at all and roam mobility customer service is unable to help me
