I have been reading about this. Apparently, in 2013 (two years after the window used here) the federal government forced car makers to make the front side windows laminated in a phase in program instead of tempered. So, while our 2013 Subaru this will work on the front side windows, it won't in our 2018 Buick Envision or 2023 Mazda CX-5. However, most car makers still make the back door windows tempered still. So, if you go into a lake if you grab this, jump in the back seat, and break the window you can escape. If you stay in the front seat, you will drown as laminated glass won't break. Appreciate the demo and I will get it but will warn my family members it will only work on the back seat of two of our cars (we have four drivers - 3 cars).

It is always best to use the tool near one of the window corners where the glass is weaker .... 👍

I'm not sure, but I've heard that when glass is laminated - this tool will not work the way you showed it. So it is important to know the type of glass on side doors

Notice: Dont use it in the middle of the window, target the edges or side. Sometimes u need to do 2 or more times, then it works....
