So fun going back to see this video after seeing how you took brioche to new levels, combining brioche with lace patterns! Love your creativity, and yes, I enjoy going and rewatching your fav 5’s for new ideas

I’m sold! Bought yarn for the cowl am trying to get brave enough to start. Thanks for the video. I wouldn’t have tried brioche without it!

Hi Barbara! I love the Fav 5 series and Brioche was also on my list for 2020, can’t wait to cast on one of these 👍 I am completely new to brioche and will definitely be starting with the coaster

Brioche projects look so cool! They both intrigue and intimidate me. Even though I'm an experienced knitter, I can't quite make myself take the plunge. However, the coaster and trivet may just pull me in. Good choices! Thanks, Barbara!

Thanks so much for including Wraparoche! You said it perfectly – the shaping is similar to my Wraparound cowl, so yeah, the name is a play on that + brioche. Sorry to confuse you! This is a great selection here. 😊

Those look like a nice progression. I want that headband and I'm already looking at the yarns I would use.

Thank you for another great fav5. I have been wanting to try brioche for a few years now, but keep putting it off. Maybe your video is the inspiration I need! Those coasters look like a good place to start.

Have done 4 scarfs and 3 hats in 2 color. Ready to try some shaping. Like your choices. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing that. I haven't tried brioche yet. But that will be a good way to start out doing those patterns.

Barbara, your project choices are great [well-thought out]....they are all on my bucket list. ;-) Not sure which one will be first...I tend to jump in no matter the level of difficulty. [ I'm an experienced knitter but new to brioche so that will be an interesting combo.] Thanks, Barbara!

Very interesting. Maybe I could try a square but I am still mastering the mosaic knitting that you love. X

Great selection. How’s the Tamogochi? My daughter had one about 20 years ago and I too had to babysit it. It has long since passed to electronic junk heaven.

First Fave 5, and brioche?! Woohoo!! I'm working on my first Brioche Hat right now, perfect timing! I've gotta work on tinking back to a mess up right now 😳😳😳

Awesome compilation! I took several brioche classes a few years ago - love it - but I have yet to do anything "real" with it. These projects will be great to keep up my skill set while I wait for time to do something bigger. I had to laugh at the first one - so simple, but useful! I was already sold on it by the time I heard you say "Xandy Peters" (I was knitting so wasn't parsing printed text). I'm taking one of her classes at Stitches West next month!

Barbara, I’m loving your hair this length. It is so long all the sudden. It’s so awesome. I used to be a cosmetologist in my 20s. Sad but no one likes what they have and want what they see on others. I wish I had as much curl as you have it takes a lot of work but holds so well any style typically.
I have a question please. Why does it work out that you can knit one first stitch and slip the last stitch but end up getting a slipped stitch edge on each side? It’s Just trying to understand how that can be or work out so well? Thank you.

On topic: Small projects are totally the way to go. My first was a hat. Was recommended to go for two colors first as you can keep track of where you are easier.
Off topic: Where did you find the toy. Our son loves Japan and adores his soy sauce and would think that is so cool. Maybe for his birthday right as school lets out...
