Ingredients for making Authentic Chimichurri:
4 cloves of Garlic
2 small red Habanero chilis, deseeded and finely chopped.
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
1 Teaspoon of dried oregano
1 Teaspoon of kosher salt
2 Tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1/2 Cup of olive oil

Instructions for making Authentic Chimichurri:
- First, smash, peel and mince your garlic cloves and deseed and chop your habanero peppers and add them together in a small bowl.
- Now start to chop your parsley, chopping it finely, and add it to the bowl.
- Also add to the bowl, your dried oregano, kosher salt, your olive oil and mix thoroughly and season with fresh black pepper and voila!

Uruguayan here. Habaneros do not belong in this. It's your interpretation of chimichurri, which is perfectly fine, but I'm afraid this isn't authentic.

going to call bs on this cuz of the habaneros: not only are they way too spicy for this recipe, and too numerous in quantity, but the guy or gal doing the prep rubs his fingers inside them which is not what you should be doing with an habanero

Yes, this might be a variant to original Chimichurri... But I am sorry as an argentine, I must inform you the Habanero Chilis have no business in the authentic Argentine chimichurri...! The authentic Argentine chimichurri is not really spicy!

Crushed red pepper is one thing. Habaneros are another. Está receta no es rioplatense. Aji molido si. Habaneros frescos? Ni en pedo. Es más dudo que se pueda comprar habaneros en el río de la plata. In Venezuela they do make this, but it's.not called chimichurri. This video is wrong on all levelsstick to your own food and quit messing up simple basic recipes. Whoever uploaded this is clueless
