Line G (formerly, the Orange Line BRT) in the San Fernando valley is the same thing, but manually driven. The busiest part is in the process of being converted to LRT.

low floor busses seem like a good idea but i feel like the would need their own lane because the ride would be very bumpy on an older road

trackless trams for trolleys makes so much more sense than just a battery electric bus

My main issue with the "trackless trams" is that they're clearly being pushed by those against rail, light rail in particular.

The city of Stirling thinks the Trackless Tram will solve alot of issues, but since it isn't joining with Transperth, there'll be more problems than not, because you would have competition between the local and state government ventures

Um no. Most if not all trams in Paris are rubber wheeled. As far as I’m aware the operator doesn’t steer it so it operates like a train.

Trams way better than busses! Quiet, safer, faster, it’s not a bus

"Trackless trams" are actually worse than regular buses in a way since they're not manually driven and so will quickly wear grooves into the pavement, resulting in high maintenance costs and poor ride quality.
