In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

At no point in the spoon collecting task did Jenny or Mae seem to understand that Kiell couldn't see, and it was magical.

Ivo’s fake at 12:30 doesn’t get nearly enough credit for tricking the people in the room and on the show. It’s one of my favorite moments of the season.

13:12 Ivo definitely deserved the win on this one. I never really believed that Jenny bloodied her nose or that Mae had psychic powers or that Frankie had killed himself (he was right there in the studio!) but for just a moment we all 100% believed that Ivo had done really shit at a task 😂

Alex’s reaction to Ivo’s fake on it’s own shows that it deserved the five points I have never seen him look that visibly impressed at someone’s performance on a task

Ivo genuinely shocking both Alex and Greg with faking his own identity and not winning the task has got to be the biggest robbery I've ever seen in Taskmaster. I mean, the other contestants didn't do badly, but I think we all genuinely believed Ivo was actually sitting there right before he peaked into the room.

Frankie and Ivo once again being the perfect comedy duo. The shift from “I’m gonna guide you into a situation of some danger” to “it doesn’t matter if you hurt yourself!” and “you greedy bastard” is top tier 😂🤣

Honestly, Ivo being so impressed and saying “you love to see it” when he pulled out the birthday card had to have been one of the most sporting moments in final task history.

I am honestly shocked Ivo didn't get the 5 points for the mummy fakeout. You could see on Alex's face genuine surprise and then something like pride when Ivo popped in after the task.

Ivo and Frankie *both* talking in that high pitched voice during the spoon challenge had me laughing so hard I was crying. I love them!!

I would like to state that Mae Martin's strategy for the "Fake something" task was PERFECT.

As I said in the short of this same moment on Channel Four; "I rang his wife" is absolutely a strategy used by actual TV "psychics".
