A year of boycott: The high cost of supporting Israel

Consumers have expressed their ire against major corporations that support Israel’s genocidal policies with worldwide boycotts. The collective consumer effort has shown results. We look at the effects of a one-year global boycott.

I did a two year contract in Israel as a software engineer. Of the 18 software engineers on the project with me, none of them are still in Israel. Since the pager and walkie talkie explosions things have got even worse now, I see that Israelis software engineers are removing the fact that they worked in Israel from the likes of LinkedIn. And people who worked in Israel, such as myself, I'm removing the two years I spent there from my LinkedIn account. Who would trust any software engineer from Israel or anybody who worked in Israel? You'd simply never be sure of what these people are planting on your computer systems.

Before I buy any brand, I check if it has stores in Israel. Boycotts are helping Palestine.

The BDS movement is forever. Never stop. The ones that you boycott today, no matter what they say in a year or decade from now, never change your mind. Ever.
They count on us to forget past tragedies as time takes a toll on our memory and fading sentiments. So please do not ever stop. If you make the switch, stay on it for life.
The lives lost will never be recovered, so there's no point in switching back.
