Professor P plays variations by Paul De Bra on the song Очи чёрные (Schwarze Augen / Dark Eyes). This traditional uses a poem by Evgeny Grebenka, and the melody is of uncertain origin, sometimes attributed to Florian Hermann and sometimes to Sindo Garay.
There are many accordion versions of this song, and most of them range between very difficult and nearly or completely impossible. This version however is suitable for mere mortals like the accordion quintet ARTE for which this version was created. (ARTE has not yet been able to perform it due to Covid restrictions.) This is a lot easier to play than it sounds (all the fast elements are very standard exercises that everyone masters) but the fourth voice should preferably be done on a button accordion.
