The example of a child ordering veggie sandwich…saying “finally” can be taken as a “backhanded compliment” because there’s still a negative judgement message. After the child ate it, if the parent said something like, “You seemed to like that sandwich, I think I’ll give it a try next time”, I wonder if that would be effective.

Is it more difficult to keep yourself motivated when you are single? Without that additional support, I find it very easy to slip back into the 'what's the point' mindset.

Changing yourself can be challenging, but it's definitely possible with the right mindset. Start by setting clear and achievable goals. Break down these goals into smaller steps and tackle them one by one. Surround yourself with positive influences and remind yourself why you want to change. Celebrate small victories along the way to keep your motivation high.

She is not motivating. Why won’t a mom not want to wake up to say good morning to the children, fix their breakfast, pack lunch, give them hugs, pray with them and tell them to have a great day? Why want that one precious hour to sleep more as a mom, when kids remember every special moments we have spent with them? If husband wants to be in their morning routine then that’s double dose of love and building strong happy confident kids isn’t it?
Yes saying finally you are eating the vegetables is not positive to the kids or grown ups.
This speaker needs to train more or even better, live her life first taking care of her family, before she can give advice!!!

What about the "Let them" technic ? I prefer not to micro manage people we are all on our own path.

Why that doesn’t work for me? It causes the opposite effect I am so weird and that’s why I don’t make compliments or if I do it is just because I want to make people feel good

Can people learn to about other people's lives? I find it very annoying when someone is trying super hard to a desperate point in motivating me to do something I dislike to do. HAHAHHAHAHA. Like.... buzz off and mind your own biz. Especially if the motivation benefits the motivator more even though it'll be a good progress for me. The intension from the motivator, in some cases. Not all.
