Wondering how to edit 360 video? This tutorial will show you the basics of 360 video editing; from stitching your raw files to exporting your 360 video.

I'll be using the Insta360 One X Camera along with Adobe Premiere Pro for this 360 video editing tutorial. You'll learn how to stitch your video, how to add text and images to your 360 video, how to use the immersive video effects and how to color correct your 360 video.

This is a fairly basic guide to editing 360 footage and there is more you can do, but for those just getting started this should allow you to create some good quality VR experiences using your camera.

I found the part about changing the starting point of the 360 video very helpful. Been using PS Elements and haven't found a way to adjust this. It is kinda important where a video starts off. Thanks for sharing that.

Recommendations for NON-subscription software for 360 editing? willing to buy a one time top notch software that doesnt have the monthly tag, thx

I agree with smitthone, Premiere may be the most powerful, but amongst many amateurs is not worth the monthly price. There are many other video editing programs such as Cyberlink's software just as an example, would be great if we could see similar videos using other software. Oh well, maybe next time

I have text in the video, but how to make it so it follows wherever the person is looking at (so it is following the camera) ?

Question: I have the Max gorpo. How can I convert in premier or resolve 360 to standard 4k out put. I ned to shoot some sites in 360 and standard at the same time. I dont want to buy another gorpro and shoot with two cameras. I know there is a softwear (videostudio) which convert 360 to standard. I was wondering if it can be do with either premier or resolve. i have them both. thanks for your insight

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm intrigued to see how many people edit on desktop because for me personally, although it's not perfect, I find using the Insta360 mobile app on my smartphone to be much better/quicker for my workflow. I love that I can touch and drag the image and most importantly use my phone's internal gyros to frame my scenes, much faster than anything I could do with keyboard, mouse & keyframes on desktop (and also even though my device is only an iPhone 6S it still stitches/renders my files at top quality in pretty decent time). I only wish the extra steps needed (downloading multiple videos from Insta cam to my phone, then rendering them all once I've framed them with FreeCapture) could be automated/batch processed. As it is I have to sit and tap 'download' on them one by one, and then 'export' one by one on the other end of the process....! I've asked Insta about adding a 'queue' functionality in the app many times but they just keep telling me it's too

Yes, an oversampling video, particularly if it does not feature Adobe Premier, would be great. :-)

Bought the gopro max...

Tried to edit my 3k footage. My computer wanted to kill itself.

dunno how many pple out there can afford premiere ransomware system. Despite this, (nearly) all tutorials for 360 videos show premiere pro.
Ok, got it, it's the best. Having said that, most of us do not have
