I remember when I bought this on DVD back in '05. My friends and I would talk about this fight scene almost every day. We were big fans of Yen and Sammo's early movies, and we were stoked to see them fight in a movie like this.

After watching John Wick 4, seeing Scott Atkins as Killa made me come back to this fight scene. 💪🏽

Fun fact, this movie has different ending in Hong Kong version and China version, this one is China version where Donnie won, the Hong Kong version Sammo won by throwing him out of the window, but Donnie's body crushed and killed Sammo's family downstair

A lot of the colorful lighting hues used in John Wick's cinematography especially in the last two movies came from this movie. Also we get to see where the idea for KIlla came from.
