Gas is 40% more efficient than electric.. and this issue is about limiting availability to traditional fuel sources, not risks to health or safety. That 'recent study' was conducted over 10 years ago, btw.

Counting on Electricity as the single source of energy is a dangerous dependency. Even if it is the best and clean. There is no 100% guarantee of electricity supply to homes especially during difficult weather situations or other technical glitches. We are advised to keep money in multiple investments, similarly why not have multiple sources of energy

Baseless claims from far left organizations. My family and friends have had gas stoves for years, no one stands over their stove and breathes in the fumes (kinda hot anyway), everyone is healthy. There are plenty of hysterical topics like this floating around trying to scare people. Youre fine and your kids will be fine. When i was a kid we had a stove that ran off propane and it didnt need electric to run, i dont need to tell you how useful it was during a blackout to have a cooked meal or hot water. Strange how in our mad dash to electrify everything we forgot how to take care of ourselves, we have become too dependent on fragile systems that if lights go out its chaos. I also had an electric stove and i hated it, theyre slow and you cant roast a f'n marshmellow lol
