Laura Hollis is three weeks into her first semester at Sillas University, and things have gotten off to a weird start. Goat sacrifices and a self-aware library catalog aren’t exactly what Laura was expecting for Freshman Orientation. Oh, and her roommate, Betty, mysteriously disappears after a party. A cryptic (and oddly moist) note leads Laura to believe that this isn’t just a case of one too many Jäegerbombs.

It’s 2024 and I’m returning for the 579th or so time to rewatch. Can’t believe this series is going to be a decade old soon! I remember watching it when I was in college and my friends and I would be like “omg have you seen the new episode of Carmilla yet?” Time sure does fly. 😅

I started watching Carmilla a couple of weeks ago (yes im very late to this, that always happens to me for some reason) and I watched everything in like a week. I love this series and im obessed now lmao. Im rewatching now and i ordered the original Carmilla novel and the novel based on this series. I cannot express how thankful i am for this show, its amazing! Its so refreshing to see a show where there are LGBTQ+ characters and its not about their sexuality as an issue. They are solving mysteries and saving the world and just happen to be queer. We need more shows like this!
