There are billions of planets out there that don't orbit stars. The sheer abundance of these planets has led some scientists to wonder if life could emerge without a star.

Titan is a moon of Saturn! Thank you to everyone who pointed it out.

Hey folks, I'm the script writer for this episode. I don't usually post here but I did want to come and apologise for the claim that Titan is a moon of Jupiter! It's entirely my fault that that mistake ended up in the video. I hope you all enjoy this episode regardless!

The existence or rogue planets implies the existence of wizard, druid and paladin planets.

Damn, I guess Jupiter took poor Titan hostage from Saturn. #FreeTitan

"Jupiter's moon, Titan"

*society collectively explodes*

Imagine a civilization that developed on a rogue planet. A culture that grew up, never having an idea of a Sun, only a kaleidoscopic of stars.

Jupiter's moon Titan? Looks like 2020 has started very disruptively...

as an aspiring science-fantasy writer, these kinds of videos make great sources of inspiration. i love thinking about the kinds of planets there are, and how those environments could shape the live that (maybe) evolves there

They always say “scientist ran simulations” ok but I wanna SEE these simulations, I wanna video dedicated to people’s simulation of the universe

I dunno.. I haven't seen the sun in about a decade, and I'm fine with that.

"Jupiter's moon Titan"

I think you have titan mixed up with Europa. xD

Funny that these are basically the circumstances the elves lived in in Tolkien's universe before the sun and moon 🤔🧝‍♂️

10% is primordial heat? It's more like 50%.
Also, "Jupiter's moon: Titan"?
You'd think after all this time even the hosts would pick up on these errors, but alas here we are.

The Universe is too big with too many diverse things to study anything completely and its so amazing!

Someone revoke this man's space information license. Jupiter isn't cool enough to host an awesome moon like Titan.

I love that you grew a beard. And also the fantastic information presented. Keep up the beard and the great work! 😊

1) Titan orbits Saturn, 2) Titan isn't frozen 3) That would be either Enceladus for Saturn or Europa for Jupiter 4) combining this with the recent video about anti-gravity effects of pressure waves, I think that standards at SciShow are really slipping.

OR...

5) Reid lost a bet. We've all been there. At least in your forfeit you kept you're clothes on :(
