I think the commandante c40 was the original grinder to use that specific design with heptagonal burrs and now others including the k series have used their design so they should get credit for being the original. The burrs are larger in the 1zpresso k series though.

The grind adjustment on the comandante is what kept me from buying it. The 1zpresso external adjustment changed the game, i can’t imagine ever going to a hand grinder without it

17:55 -- looking forward to a moka pot video. I've got a small collection of pots but no hand grinder yet. Just to complicate it, can you also compare weighing the grounds dose versus Accuracy versus convenience, in other words?

I have both and prefer K-Max. It takes me 30 seconds to grind 18 gr of light-medium roast. Settings for Moka pot depends on coffee beans. Most of the time I use 3.3 for Moka pot. But I usually drink espresso.

yeah...a lot of people complaints about the "plastic" inside, but is not that plastic you can find in chinese stuffs, actually what is inside is a kind of polymer that is ridiculously hard to break, usually that kind of polymer is used to build guns like the Glock 18

Great review! I ordered a Flair 58, and I'm thinking of buying a hand grinder for both espresso and filter. I can get the Comandante here in Europe for around 260 euro. Do you think It's a good choice for both espresso and V60? Is it easy to change settings between brew methods?

Hi jack first I really love your Chanel but I don’t know what u got against the comandante… u always talk bad about it and finally u love more the coffee from the comandante. I really think u need to buy the red clicks and it will be much more easy to make espresso.
