Recap: Women in Data Science Conference at UNC Charlotte

A recap of the best highlights from WiDS! The Women in Data Science Conference is a yearly event hosted by our School of Data Science and sponsored by leading companies in the industry.

The conference aims to inspire, educate, and engage current and future data scientists in the Carolinas, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field by providing training, networking, and mentoring opportunities.

2023's conference featured keynote speakers Kate Darling of MIT and Neelima Sharma of Lowe's, a panel between WiDS Ambassador Madi Ivanova and Google's Teena Piccione, and several breakout sessions featuring industry leaders.
