Unable to get scheduled on DoorDash. Can't dash now? Can't get on?
There may be a reason. I have a theory that I intend to prove or disprove over the next few days.

I think dd should require the customer to pay the dasher five dollars minimum and reword their term “tip” to fee for dasher delivery or something like that because that’s what it really is. Tips come after delivery, almost never but that’s a tip. What we get offered is our actual pay, and there should be a minimum the customer has to pay or else the order will be rejected by the company itself. Dd needs to take better care of the people keeping it alive.

I had a 4.94 customer rating, 54% acceptance, 98% completion and 95% on time. And I still get scheduled instead of dash now. I just let pass orders like $7 for a 13 mile distance I rarely decline one and I still have the same problem. Last month I got a perk that was dash every time you want because I’m a top dasher but this month I haven’t be able to dash 😫

It's doordashs way of screwing over people who don't take those $2 orders. You need a 70% acceptance rate to be a top dasher and be able to dash anytime you want which is ridiculous.

Another trick you guys can use is click on the nearest busy area and it will give you the option to dash while on route and just stay put you will get orders

Everything depends on the city you're dashing in as well. I live next to NIU and I would say 90% of the orders out here DO NOT tip, nor do they respect us as drivers. Accepting all of these 2.75 orders would take me 16 hours to make my money for the day so in all its not worth it. Doordash needs to get it together with this inflation. If we all just complain to the CEO Tony Xo we might get somewhere as he listens to us. I have personally wrote to him and have made changes to the app such as the amount of pausing we are allowed now.

I started dashing 2 weeks ago. My acceptance rate was 85, now 77, 5.0 customer rating, 97 and 96 on time and completion. And was top dasher.
3 days ago, I declined 2 red card orders because I forgot my red card. Now I can't get scheduled for the next five days! I'm in a small town, but has very good hot spots.
I think this situation is due to, too many dasher. I'm just gonna keep checking every hour on the hour to see if I can schedule something. Right now I've accepted 12:30 AM to 2AM are you kidding me?

Your soooo accurate because I’ve noticed when I don’t except or decline orders it takes like 10 minutes or longer to get another order. And when I do except orders dash sends the lowest paying orders…so to me I’m trying to make money yet not trying to go a long distance for a low pay 💰

I just got approved on DoorDash, and I have gotten exactly ZERO orders, zero offered schedules in my area, or all areas within 25 miles. Regardless of my 100% acceptance rate on zero orders, there is no way i can get top dasher. The market is saturated with drivers because I cannot even get a schedule in any of the 6 areas within 25 miles. All schedules are taken every day for up to 7 days in advance. I'm still waiting for it to let me dash for my first time.

I've been dashing for two years. In the past I've never had problems getting orders. The last two or three weeks I've been unable to "dash now" or schedule myself for more then an hour. Even on the rare occasions I can dash now or schedule more often then not I'll go an entire hour without an order. Btw my AR is 72%. Today is a Saturday. Not one order. In fact I've only gotten 10 all week and made $70. It's ridiculous

Im a top dasher 4.95, my rating are all good green percentages 95% up and i live city of anaheim orange county california, its a busy city and tbh i cant dash at any time, it was only my first 2 weeks of work when i could dash anytime any area also, i called doordash whats going on and they said to drive to hot spots, and its not worth driving 30 miles away for just 20 an hr on average, it sucks when you start your dash in one city and most of your deliverys take you to the next city and you end up in a black zone, so its better of to work at busy times which is dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm thats when i noticed all red

What I really hate about the app is that it won't let you get on whenever you want for how ever long you wanna dash..the scheduling is bs 🙄

You get it. This video helped a lot. Just starting to think DoorDash is not worth it. It was at first.

My acceptance rate is above 86% so its definitely not because of the acceptance rate, I called and they told me they let new dashers have the dash now option. .and that I'd be able to "dash now" after 200 dashes and keep my ratings up which is some BS smh

I was up at midnight waiting for the next Thursday to roll over (5 days in advance) and it still said “no slots available”
How is this possible? Are you saying all the drivers in my area took all the good times in less than 1min? And of course all the dasher agents are worthless and never help.

It means run your car into the ground paying for fuel. They benefit and you don't have a paycheck
