I was pretty sure I knew what I was doing but wanted to make sure. Funny enough I have this exact mixer and audio interface so that worked out well.

Thanks for this. I'd like to add that I had endless problems trying to use my Mackie mixer as my PC audio interface. Switched to umc404 and no more problems. So if you don't need a lot of inputs just stick with an Audio Interface. Anyway, now I'm needing more channels for mics so I'm gonna try to run my Mackie into my 404. Thanks again

Hey man great! I really appreciate that. I didnt realize it really was that simple. Just thought I would need some type of inbetween device, to help it work better with the skratch set up. Okay man, thanks alot, your time is wicked appreciated, & I'll definitely try this out, for sure. Either way I'll figure it out eventually, just wanna learn everything I can that will help apply the best angles, & do this rite, & keep practicing, no computers, & no bells & Straight Hand Lol....

well and clearly explained only what should you do if your audio interface only has a mic/line 1 input and inst 2 (for instruments) e.g. the u-phoria umc 22 then it is not possible to do left and right when i use a orchestra wants to record with all their equipment at the mixer (without usb) with audio interface is there a solution for that?

Thank you bro, I don't have a picture, cause im waiting for both the Gemini Tt-01 belt drive Turntable, & the Raiden RPM-100 MIXER. But, no recording, & absolutely no laptops or computers. Just wanna send my music, instrumentals, & loops directly from my Lg stylo 4, smartphone, thru the mixer, and out my speakers, so when im practicing my acratchesy, & kutz, I'll have beatz going from the assigned channel that the phone is connected to, on the mixer, & then the other channel, on the 2 channel mixer, will connect to the other channel, for me to scratch my scratch records, while playing my digital beats, through my phone, into the mixer, & out the speaker. But, definitely NO RECORDING, & NO COMPUTERS OR LAPTOPS, awesome thanx man.... The only thing digital, is my MP3's, & instrumentals, & Loops, wich are strictly for my beatz while skratching, practicing my scratches, & kutz, thanx a bunch bunch man, your very 👍👊💪🙏😎

Hi. Would you kindly show me how to connect a Mackie ProFX12v2 with Roland Studio-Capture interface? I followed your guide and connected from the Main L/R out of the ProFX to the Input-1 and Input-2 of the Roland, I could only get the music sound without the vocal. I used two laptops: 1 was to play the music source from a YouTube clip and the other was to record, using a DAW software. The ProFX had an USB interface, and it worked to record directly from the sound board. However, the vocal affected the quality of the music sound when I used the USB. I hope to be able to use the Roland to capture the mixed sound of both vocal and music with a better quality. Thanks so much, and I greatly appreciate it.

Hi man! Thx for the video! So.. If i plugged xlr(in) to xlr(out) and TRS(in) inch to TRS(out) at the SAME time will it become stereo and work normal? i mean .. it's just like a legal cheat how make your Scarlett solo connecting to mixer in Stereo mode like Scarlett 2i2 can do. If it so... How good will sound be with this way? Did you test it?

So can you do so u put xlr on left and the guitar plug right and connect them to scarlett solo. Is it in stereo then or does it matter if them are both connected left and right?

Hi, I own a Behringer Xenyx 1002FX mixer and a Behringer Uphoria UMC404HD. I am having trouble understanding how to connect the two of them sin I do not want to lose 2 microphone inputs on the interface...is there any other way to connect?
