First day in Minecraft (​Enderman Kill me​)

I remember my Enderman encounter in this game.


This took place months back. I was in the mines, looking for resources to use. I had my character live in a cave during that time. When I mined a stone off, that's when I saw... those purple eyes.


Then, that scary ass sound came in. I quickly put the cobble stone where the stone was before and I ran for it. Thankfully, the Enderman was too tall to be in where I was, but I was scared shitless nonetheless. The screaming also had me on my toes. But, after some time, it stopped. I was safe after that, but I was very paranoid after that. That's why I'm always careful and prepared when I see an Enderman.

Scary... I remember I was playing Minecraft for the first time a few years ago, and my friends (which are all pretty good players) pranked me by telling me that something good would happen if I looked into an enderman's eyes. I believed them and my severely unprepared self was immediately killed afterwards. Since then, I basically have a heart attack every time I see one and haven't built up the courage to go to the end.
