How to Remove Forgotten Excel Workbook Password - Workbook Structure Protection - No Software Req

In this video, I demonstrate how to remove a forgotten password that enforces workbook structure protection in Excel. If the structure of a workbook is protected you can't do things like add or remove worksheets. No third-party software is required to remove this password.

Whenever I try to do this I get an error (from the Wizard) that the folder is empty so cannot be extracted. Is this because my folder is on a cloud drive rather than a local drive?

It WORKS! I have no idea how a worksheet that I only have access to suddenly had protection but this fixed it. Since I store in the cloud had to move to local storage to be able to edit the file but it worked nicely! Thank you SO very much!

when I rename to .zip it's not recognized as an archive and thus I can't open it

Does it work if the workbook has multiple sheets all protected?

I open my zip folder inside only got my excel nothing else. I change name to .zip but it remain as excel so I compress it to zip file.

I can't find lockstructure even by searching? Is there a reason for that?
