Most expensive thing on a phone is its chip bro..have some knowledge. The display used on iPhone 16 pro max is m14 from Samsung which costs nearly 30$ or less for Apple whether A18 pro would cost 200$+

First of all, bill of materials in manufacturing doesn't refer to cost. It's just the list or bill of materials required to produce one.

Give the software a little credit too... It costs a significant amount to develop software and keep supporting these phones for 5 years or more. It's not just the hardware that makes the phone is it?

As a techy myself I can conform and say I used both iphone and android flagship So "if you don't have budget to buy iPhone then go for Samsung S series (try to buy minimum 3 year old S series for better long time use (if you are i need for great value for budget price "/ if you have money then buy New Samsung S series or New iPhone it's upto you interest !
