A girl I dated for 6 months, knew her for a year and half or so before. We had started dating. She had gotten me into this show, right before Alicization came out, and, it was so hard to watch. I dated her for such little time, but had learned the most, n felt the most love from her. Me and her had watched the show together and related to it, and would compare me and her to the show, and how we still disagree, but how we used to be so perfect to each other at the time. Then we split soon after mutually. and i hardly talked to her after that. This music is the only thing that really keeps my happiness going with the memories of her. Even 2.5 years later. Thank you SAO.

People here are praising SAO for the characters and the story but what I am amazed about is the level of technical accuracy concerning the technology in the first 2 seasons. Obviously the tech is described very vaguely since it's fiction, but... As far as I know there's nothing technically impossible about the NerveGear and the full-dive technology. It's extremely complex and far in the future but I believe it can be done.
