It’s been really cold for us but we finally got dumped on. My headlight covered over with snow, no crank on the cold start and TORS issue the day before.

Looks like you were having fun! We only have about 6” where I am. I just started my VK 540 the other day, and even though I had fuel stabilizer in it through the summer, it wouldn’t start via electric start. It would only start by the pull start. I’m not sure if that means I need to change the plugs yet again. Kind of frustrating, considering Yamaha‘s are supposed to be so reliable though…

I made a few videos on my page how to fix the tors but my problem was worn out slide valves so they were sticking all the time. Maybe your carbs were frozen ? From all the snow getting into the intake box ? That sled has carb warmers though so maybe once the carbs got warm the carb got unstuck ?? Great video love seeing all the snow . We have nothing here .
