1:55.96 lap of VIR Full in a 2019 Corvette ZR1

Finally broke in to the 1:55's with the 2019 Corvette ZR1. Traffic cost me about three tenths and there's definitely more time to be had. Only modification are AP Racing brakes and Pirelli scrubs on 18" wheels.

Nice driving. Just wondering, how do you like the Michelin Cup 2 tires? How many track days do you get out of them before they need to be replaced?

I am curious if the C7 ZR1 with the "low wing"/" low drag" configuration would have faster lap times than the what you posted. VIR Full Course seems to be suited to a low drag setup.... I.e. majority full throttle drag race on ~80% of lap? VIR Grand Course is definitely a different discussion....comments?

I like the ZR1 with an 8 speed automatic because it is much faster than manual!
