Judgment is an action-adventure game with a third-person perspective. It follows private detective Takayuki Yagami as he investigates a serial murder case in Kamurocho, a fictional district of Tokyo, Japan, previously featured in the Yakuza franchise.

The Division 2 takes place in Washington D.C. seven months after its predecessor, in which a civil war between survivors and villainous bands of marauders breaks out.

The main story of Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in London in 1868, at the onset of the Second Industrial Revolution, and follows twin Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they navigate the corridors of organised crime and take back the city from Templar control. The narrative also includes segments set in 1916, during World War I, which follow Jacob's granddaughter, Lydia Frye.

Assuming Gamology can get good footage from Cyberpunk 2077, I’d love to see what architects think of imaginings of the future of architecture.

Was not expecting the heavily modded GTA 5 gameplay lmao

Missed opportunity to have them react to the different Hitman stages like France, Germany, India and Japan

Should have used Spider-Man, that is a incredibly authentic new york city, even with the fictional buildings they added.

environmental and ladnscape artist is great they can expand to any forms of art, to gaming that would implement environmental storytelling, art direction, interactive environment and visual language. Dyinglight 2 for example has visual languages that gives the player spatial awareness w/ ledges and cracks in building w/ color pallet differ to its surroundings.

Funny how they say Kamurocho is less real when it's litterally theTokyo red district

Even though the Yakuza and Judgment series games have the smallest map to scale compared to Assassins Creed or Red Dead it feels the most lived in. I've been to Kabukicho and Dotonbori and the resemblance to the real life district is definitely there.

They really need to choose better footage for some of these games they were showcasing.
They still have a ways to go before knowing how to properly represent the aspects of games people are here to judge/react to.

Kamurocho: ‘It’s a little less real than the others’

Also Kamurocho: Countless testimonies it’s great to use as a virtual tour before visiting Kabukicho

Would love to see their reactions to the Fallout games and the post-apocalyptic 1950s look. Assassin's Creed 2 Renaissance Italy is also fun too.

GTA with a hyper realistic hack. So are they straight up reacting to LA?

One day Gameology will just capture B-roll of the characters just walking around and let the professionals make their observations of the games environment.

Awful choice of gameplay footage for professional architects. Why would you choose to show them modded GTA V? Why show footage of AC Syndicate with combat? You show them Red Dead 2 but dark footage with difficult to see architectural details due to weather, why not show them Valentine? Armadillo? Saint Denis?
Gamology manages to find some of the best reactors yet the person or group in charge of finding footage are either lazy or don't know the games.
Really disappointing..

Alexis really knows her stuff, over a wide range of areas. Very interesting listening to her take on what she was seeing.

This is embarrassing when you say experts react to a game That is not in its original state scheme has been modded on PC and nobody told these fools so they’re looking at the GTA like wow

It's not okay to show modded footage without disclosing why do that? Why not show the original and some modded footage as a comparison? this feels wrong and manipulative.

Read dead redemption series basically takes place after the end of the “old west” era we think of, 1900 to 1910 or so. A full 40 years after the Clint Eastwood cowboy movies. So stuff like paved roads and electricity would be more common. (If fact you start to see semi automatic guns and, gasp, cars near the end). The very chronological end of the series is almost as the beginning of world war 1
