I live in Saudi Arabia, now it is 48 C during the day and 38-39 during the night
You could add something which is cooling vest, either the one which work by submerging it in water or the one with gel pieces you can put in the freezer
It work for 4-5 hours and it is a game changer indeed

Good job Roland! Perfect timing with this video. I’m 12 days away from starting a 10 day road trip throughout the great state of Montana.

Good tips, I live in the Australian Tropics (bloody hot), I can relate to a lot of this.
Another tip is to check your tyre pressures..! Amazing how much your tyre pressure can change and even tyres can fail between extreme temperatures.

Wonderful tips and advice Roland, keeping yourself cool and hydrated. Now let's focus on the next topic, riding on a Ducati Panigale. Hahaha, now that's a different story right :D

Not bad!! Im in CA currently June out side . Temp is 104 degrees Fahrenheit and the road is probably 120F+ I soaked my shirt threw my gear over it. And it lasted for about 22 miles. Then I had to hydrate and use my camel pack to wet my shirt again. But man it was like riding inside a refrigerator!

Nice usable tips, Roland. Looked after the thermo shirts. To bad they are not in my size😒 But hopefully somewhere in the Netherlands they have some good ones too.

When hydrating, add a little NaCl, Potassium, and Magnesium. This will help you retain water and replace the minerals that are lost from sweating.

This was a very good one again, especially the tip wearing wet underwear and scarf

Drinking only water will cause a loss of electrolytes which results in a loss of brain function--concentration. (Taste you skin at the end of the day; it will taste salty.) Take either salt tablets or a sports drink to go with your water. My rule is take a salt tablet or 8 oz of a sports drink at least every 90 minutes.

What about humidity? Here in the Philippines, near the ocean, when it finally gets down to 25°C by 5 A.M., the humidity is always over 90%, even 94%+!! So, how to keep cool when your sweat hardly evaporates? By the time I arrive home I'm totally sweaty. In fact, when I come out of my air conditioned room and then put on my jacket, helmet, gloves, and open and shut the gate, by that time I'm over-heated and already sweaty. It takes a while to get to a road where I can go faster than 30kph. It's the humidity. Humidity here never gets below 50%. By 3 P.M. the feel-like temperature is 43°!!

Does a 60+ C° in summer damage the motorcycle engine because I live in kuwait and it's very hot in summer
