When I saw the Moodies perform this in 1969 Justin played a telecaster. The music was every bit as ferocious as the lyrics to Gypsy are. It was magnificent!

This sound's great! Alway's loved the accoustic strumming opening the tune...this is a treat!

1966, H.S. graduate heading to college, i was astounded by the new string/flute and innovatively orchestral rock arrangements characterized by such albums as, "Days of Future Past", the 1st 'concept album' among others that would follow. And now we can hear, "the ghost of our youth", which as Justin Hayward reflects, persists like a resistant acceptance of Age. Thank you for your inspiring music, Mr. Hayward, and your current as well as in general, and specifically, The Moody Blues.

Beautiful! One of my favorites! "Living without a home of going home"... <3

I wish Justin would work again with these people. They are brilliant

I got the crazy idea of the Moodies' music somehow being used for/in the soundtrack of a film version of Anne McCaffrey's Pern sci-fi/fantasy series. All of those marvellous electronic instrumentals would probably have to be redone acoustically, for the Pern culture was presented as late medieval/early Renaissance in feel. This track is exactly what I hoped for, so many years ago. Thank you.

Justin, you are a great singer. Wonderful arrangement too!

This is really nice, I love the way it sounds. But it would have been a lot better if there had been an actual video made like was done with Question, which I just think is wonderful. Both of these remakes are remarkable for the energy that pours from them. So very happy sounding.

A definite thumbs up. Just shows how good the song is, to stand up to other arrangements.

Monsieur J

This tune of yours, truly IS you.
I really like this recording, as it is you now.
There will be those that wanted to suck you back into the past. They will not relate.
Too frickin bad.

Enjoy doing more like this, please.
This group is SO MUCH better than your regular back-up band. I'm sorry, but they are scheiss.

So some more with these players PLEASE.
Why not make an entire album with these players? Brilliant.
Make a vinyl. I dare you.
Sur de la Mer
Coeur de la Mer.

Remind us of the Joyeaux, darlin.

This is good. When I recently heard the original, I was thinking out what it would sound like with a quartet. Voila.

This is awesome. A Jethro Tull / Songs from the Wood meets the Moodys kind of vibe in this.
