Ever since I’ve been consistently bounding, doing plyometrics and watching other jumpers after getting serious into triple jumping, I’ve increased my old pr (38’11) to 44’5 within 6 months. It’s crazy how much these little things can do

I just started triple this season and am regularly hitting in the 34’s, pr is 35’8.25 but I learned so much from ur channel in just a few hours and cant wait to use your tips in my jumps such as staying active and keeping my leg parallel in my hop phase and hopefully adding some inches or even feet to my jump Thank you!

Agree plenty with you because i went from 12.69m (my first triple jump ever)-15.25m with no weights at all (over a 2 year span) just core workouts and bounding.

First meet and I jumped 34.10ft. I can’t wait to start actually training and growing. I am a female jr in hs btw.

Cross Country is a great way to work the muscles, ligaments and tendons that just flat running doesn't do. Helps with injury prevention as well. I also like soccer as a cross training sport because of the speed and directional changes.

Two years ago my pr was 32 feet and I finally hit 40 for the first time last night. I’m gonna try to do some bounding to see if it can get me farther

Your Awesome man, I really appreciate these videos because as you said I am trying to become a student of my sport. Last year I was 13 and ended up winning Youth Nationals for my age group in the triple jump and that was my first year jumping, but I didnt jump far by any means and so I am trying to break my high schools record set by Will Claye. after not triple jumping for 4 years, i went 34, which is a 4 foot PR, but I had a long scratch for my last jump
Edit: Ended my season at 41'3" at our sectional meet. I had two 42' scratches, and missed state, but I'm not finished.

I’ve been triple jumping for a year now and have came to your videos so many times for a guide. I’m in 8th grade and my pr currently is 36’1 I think? I’m have 2-ish weeks left until conference championship and have good competition this year. Hoping I can get my strongest jump and get that 38-39 no scratch. I might even go to Long jump too just to try for school and state record in that too
