Cab Driver Gunned Down, Minors Sought for Murder

A cab driver was gunned down on Sunday evening within shouting distance of his home, and two minors are being sought for his murder. Just after five o’clock, 41-year-old Cecil Buckley was socializing at his neighbor’s home on Ordonez Avenue when two young men approached him. One of the assailants brandished a firearm and then opened fire on Buckley, hitting him in the neck and abdomen. Buckley was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His murder is believed to be connected to the April 30 of Adrian Pook, who was also gunned down on Ordonez Avenue. However, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hilberto Romero, says investigators are yet to establish a concrete motive but are working to detain two minors allegedly involved in the daylight murder.
