I'm from Canada. Canada was putting 25% tariff on USA imports. Mexico was also going to put tariffs on USA imports. That is when the USA decided to negotiate trade. Canada was not going to back down. The oil refineries that we have are owned by Americans. The USA also decreased the oil to 10%, not 25%. All along the border USA cities and Canadian cities depend on cross border trade. This would have devastated cities in the USA too. China is suing USA through world trade because they have broken there trade agreement. I don't know why you guys have been very one sided recently. I'm starting to wonder why??

Caved or just decided that escalating the tension isn't in Mexico's interest? Lost, among the administration's rhetoric on the amount of drugs crossing the border, is the fact that it isn't Mexico or Canada's responsibility to guard the US border from those who are supplying the huge demand for illicit drugs in the US. The US has over 200K troops deployed in over 800 bases across the world to project it's might, yet won't deploy them to protect it's own country which borders its two largest trading partners. The war on drugs has only resulted in the CIA's favoured cartels from expanding and providing a lucrative flow of cash. And why does the US impose itself morally on sovereign nations when it os the world's largest producer and market of CP?
