I really liked "Study more and work less" - that's something that I have always considered so core and that few people do it!

I discovered your channel recently as I’m new to programming. Thank you for the tips! I’m absolutely determined to master at least one language by the end of the year.

coding is really stressful, when a problem is not solved quickly I think "why I am doing this?". Is not that I hate math problems, actually, that is the funny part. What I hate is when a command doesn't work, the server is not working for some reason, the last update of the framework has some bugs, the code which was working like a charm in dev environment now in the production environment give 500 errors.

Pretty sure step 7 is how I survived my accelerated Bachelor's degree.

On the sleep cycle, sleep is roughly 90 min cycles. The best is at the end of each of those cycles, not the whole night. Though a human needs 3-5 cycles. So schedule yourself sleep time of segments of 90 mins plus the time it takes you to fall asleep. If that alarm goes off during the REM portion of the 90 min cycle, it is going to suck ass. So 4 cycles is 6 hours of sleep, I personally go for 5 cycles which is 7.5 hours plus time to fall asleep.

Great advice, especially on taking care of your health( sleep, diet), taking breaks and a clean workspace helps you feel organized not overwhelmed or chaotic.

Thanks for the tips bro!....You have no idea how EXTRA frustrating it is for ME...(who just turned 49 YEARS OLD!)....I'm like a fish out of water, I'm struggling with C++ and Python right now...and I just got in the mail?...my "Python Crash Course" textbook...which I'll read religiously...then I'll have to get a "C++ For Dummies" book and tackle THAT one...but I like your ideas, and will incorporate as many of them into my curriculum as possible!....Wish me luck!...and thanks!!

Awesome advice Caleb. I implement most, well, most of the time. When I don’t I usually suffer for it. Praying is one that more people should consider. Glad you mentioned it. My code needs divine intervention at times! LOL

1: don't.
Seriously, if you don't like it, don't do it.

Honestly, the best advice I have ever get in my career was to eat correctly and sleep more than enough. I see the differences when I scrap for food or if I arrive on 5hours of sleep at the office. I don't think people realize how important health is!

Great advice. When stressed I do pray, but I also meditate for 30 minutes a day and exercise, lots of stretches and walk for at least 1 hour if possible.

Nice video! I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am with a project that I am working on. I've read blog posts and worked through tutorials and still nothing. I'm going to have to take a few days break before I start pulling my hair out lol
