Donegal Golf Club in Donegal, Ireland is getting my ranking of Hidden Gem/Steal. Donegal is a course you could easily overlook when building your dream Irish golf trip but you should really consider adding it. Donegal is a great example of pure Irish links with great use of dunes, outstanding views, and a considerable challenge. The course is a great addition to any trip not only because the course is very good but also cost considerably less than other big name courses tourist flock to because of golf publications list. Trust me you will not be disappointed playing Donegal, and your wallet will enjoy it too. Lastly, the members and the staff are very inviting and friendly to visiting golfers. Donegal did not feel like a course overrun with tourists but rather a secret links course for the Irish that I was fortunate to find. Shout out to Curran Golf for the recommendation.
