WHO appeals for funds to combat malaria epidemic

The World Health Organization is appealing for more money to help fight malaria. Doctors are surprised by the number of deaths and rising infection rates, especially in India and some African countries.

The approach of home/community-Based management approach of the childhood illnesses which include Malaria allows early diagnosis and treatment and preventive approaches by messages and LLITN distribution that has led to reduced figures of death and complications. This is disease control.
