How to Mod Any PSP on Firmware 6.61 or Lower! - Infinity 2.0 Permanent CFW

This tutorial covers how to install Infinity 2.0 on ANY model of the PSP! This is accomplished by updating to firmware 6.61, patching your system with Infinity, and then installing either PRO or LME custom firmware. Unlike the previous version of Infinity, the latest 2.0 update works on every single model of the PSP, including the Street/E1000 model! Without needing to create and flash a hybrid firmware anymore, this process is now faster, safer, and easier than ever before!

The thing i love about this is that you don't need to connect the psp to the wifi since it has an connection problem on newer routers, you do need internet obviously but only for the PC or you can also mod on a android phone if you plan on using a micro SD card

_Notes_
1. Micro SD cards larger than 64gb *will work.* I have been using 128gb chips on my PSP for over a year, formatted FAT32 with GUIformat, which has worked with music and videos on older OFW. However, when I upgraded to 6.61 all my microSD cards formatted with GUIformat were no longer recognized by the PSP! The good news is after installing the CFW, formatting the memory card with the format utility on the PSP utilizes all 128gb, and all the necessary folders were automatically created!

2. The 128 game ISO limit. Will now have to try some external sorting tools to organize games into categories to bypass this; I was going to do this anyway to get games listed alphabetically, which is such a weird hack to have to do for something so simple.

If anyone is having issues updating to 6.61 OFW, you most likely have a PSP-300x 09g that has been changed to 04g via TA95 Downgrader. You need to use the TA95 Upgrader in order to firstly update to 6.61 OFW. I know this because it happened to me, I had forgotten that I had used the TA95 utility and was having issues updating (can't remember the error number).
