my first breeder said the perfect weight on a corgi is when you can feel the ribs with what feels like1-2 slices of velveeta between the ribs and the skin. if you can't feel the ribs as much they are too chunky and too lean if you can clearly feel the ribs and the space in between.

I make sure I try not to over feed my corgi, especially corgis. Their back and hips can degrade real quick with the extra weight. Many think all corgis are chonky, where it's not really healthy to be. No shade, to the good boi on the video, just love.
