First Look at the Nikon Z6III with DPReview

The Nikon Z6III is the company's third-generation full-frame mirrorless camera, bringing a faster 24MP sensor that boosts the autofocus and video capabilities of this stills/video hybrid.

The Nikon Z6III will be available from late June at a price of $2500. This is a $500 increase over the previous Z6 models but brings it into line with the likes of Canon's EOS R6 II and Sony's a7 IV, with which it directly competes.

Woah. I didn't even consider Nikon in my search (moving from my d750 for a video camera). I hope this puts a lot of pressure on pricing for a7V. But recording raw too? This maybe my next camera.

I'd be interested to see the UK price because I was planning on going for the G9ii but these specs are nice if the price and the lenses prices are decent. That said I do like lightweight gear

that‘s a step in the wrong direction for photographers for street and macro
I don‘t care about video and I don‘t care about articulating screens
so buying into Nikon seems to have been the wrong decision
they don‘t make cameras for photography anymore

Why oh why so many camera manufactures go for a 'fully articulated screen'. I can't work nice whit that at all. Even for pure video I don't like them. To swivel the screen to the required position takes more time it feels and somehow it is never in the perfect right position. Is it me.. 🙃😉? Or more who prefer an only tilting screen?
