I moved abroad from the uk when I was in my twenties. 20 years later I was in an empty warehouse in mid winter and I heard all these beautiful bird noises just like this video. A few minutes later our receptionist came in and told me my mum had just died of cancer. She loved birds. It was her way of saying goodbye and I didn’t know it. Still hits me hard.

I remember in 2020 during lockdown one of the things that struck me was the sudden appearance of so many types of birds I'd never even seen before around my South London home. The almost disappearance of humans seemed to have left a niche they willingly just filled. This reminds me of that.

I love listening to our native birdsong. I find it helps me relax, but also concentrate. I often play it during my prayer time or when I just want to de-clutter the thoughts in my head.

Beautiful video, of British birds, lovely to watch a glimpse of Britain's wildlife, while waiting for the day to travel overseas again.
One of my kittens, the most mature and largest one, was intently watching the video from the floor, looking upwards. I took him on my lap, where he could watch it at eye level with me, with the laptop on the chair opposite. He started to grow curious, and in a hunting mode, wanting to jump on the keyboard and "catch" the birds. Now, I've taken the laptop on my lap and write this comment, while he, Thorin is his name, started looking at the back of the chair...."Where are all those birds gone?"

His brother, Frodo, also stared for a while at the screen, with wide-open eyes, and he also walked to the back of the chair, looking for the birds. So cute, and innocent. But Frodo isn't such a hunter yet, and he soon walked off, now sleeping on the sofa. I'm sure to show them more of these videos, but how to prevent them from jumping on the keyboard, and not disturb the show? Got no tv

Thank you. Two weeks ago our cat broke his back leg and had surgery. He had a plate and screws. He has a big cast. Our Giles, an active Cornish Rex cannot run or jump until his leg heals. He has an iPad by his crate running your bird videos. He has been a fan of yours a long time too. Thank you so much. Your videos have been getting us through a very rough time.

We love birdwatching, and have watched your channel a long time. . One of the reasons we love living in south Florida.
