One of my favorite British birds with a magical lovely song that reminds me of Spring. I have to get up early and be out in the countryside and when I hear a Robin it is magical just to sit and listen to them all.

I had many a time Fishing on Winter days and having the local Robin sit on a branch close by, waiting for scraps. If I opened the Bait box he would be sat looking at the maggots wriggling around inside it waiting for freebies. A few thrown on the ground and it would be down on the ground hovering them up. After that it would leave me in peace and simply help itself. I've had them get so used to me being there that they've sat on the Fishing Rod and actually had them take food from my hand. They really are a fearless, curious, and tame little bird...just ask any gardener turning over soil.

a few days ago i was up really early in the morning so i went out into my garden with my dog since my cat was still asleep and she wouldn’t want to go outside that early. i was sitting on my garden bench when a little robin came and sat right behind me on the fence. we have a tub of food for the birds who come to our garden so i went and got a handful of the food. when i came back outside, the robin was sitting on the bench right where i was. i went over to it and it didn’t move at all so i held out my hand and gave it some food, it was just sitting there eating the food out of my hand. i’m surprised my dog didn’t see it because usually he sees other birds very quickly and he starts barking at them. it flew away after it had enough food, and i instantly felt a lot happier after encountering the robin

Jus saw a nice lil robin in a special area i carved thru hollys to sit in peace in my local forest saw it a few week ago in the more public area and was playin hide n find like as i got closer defo same boii or girl idkk how tell. I got it singing fo shoo
