How to Install Linux Apps on ChromeOS

The Play Store is not the only place you can use to download apps on your ChromeOS. Many Chrome OS devices can also run Linux apps, thanks to Linux support on Chromebooks. However, installing a Linux app isn’t as simple as installing an Android app. First, you have to set up the Linux Development Environment on your ChromeOS device. Once you do that, you have 3 different ways to install Linux apps on your Chromebook. In this guide, we walk through how to enable Linux on your Chromebook and run Linux apps on it using the Terminal, a Linux app store, and Deb files.

Excellent video. I didn't know it supported GUI apps, and integrated them into the system like that.
