2022 BMW 5 Series Philippines Review: The Midsize Luxury Sedan Benchmark?

MSRP: P4,290,000 - P4,890,000
As tested (530i M Sport): P4,890,000

The BMW 5 Series was facelifted in 2021, but its launch in the Philippines brought an important update--its price. Thanks to its Malaysian production, it now costs a whole lot less despite having more features. This makes the 5 Series even harder to beat, even if it's missing one aspect that I look for in a modern car nowadays.

love the 5, what’s really missing is its legendary inline-6 NA engine

Weird that it doesn't get at least radar/adaptive cruise control for the price it asks. Nevertheless the best one in its class, no doubt. Physical buttons and a more intuitive interior ftw!

Great car and love the review. How does the Kia Stinger stand up to this car, considering the price tag difference here in the Philippines? Of course the BMW will always be better in the luxury department, but the Stinger has some trump's also, especially in the power department by the looks of it.

Buy this model before the grill will be replaced with the hideous ones like in some recent models. Really disgusting to look at
