What can I say about this song? It's one of the most powerful tracks from the game and I love it dearly :) With big songs like this, it's always a challenge to capture the feel of the original with just vocals This song has so many separate tracks that I had to leave out some from the video, but most of them are shown. Dude. It took me years to really appreciate all the little nuances of this song and how deceptively complex it actually is. Despite seeming like a dreary ballad on the surface, it has some killer hooks hiding under the veneer of all that dreariness. This might just be my favorite one that you've done yet.

Man FFX had such a beautiful and emotional soundtrack. I remember making it to Zanarkand while this theme is playing….and your team is headed to Yunalesca knowing good and well Yuna was going off to her death….made the whole thing very emotional and heartbreaking 😭

This track is amazing. It's at this point the story catches up, and Tidus no longer acts as a narrator, but is as in the dark as the player. This is when it truly becomes your story, as well.

I always loved this moment in FFX. The continuous track had a special underlying meaning that you were nearly at the end of your journey. In this case it even meant that it would be the final time that anyone would have to take that particular journey and that a new era would be born out of all the moments that had come before it. That a sad truth could lead to great triumph was one of the greatest messages told in the story of FFX. Thanks for taking me there again Smooth! #smoothmcgrooved
