Something that helped me with drawing animals is watching a slow motion video of them running or jumping, I also got my dogs ball and threw it and recorded him fetching it in slow motion.

Wolves are my favorite animals, but I'm really afraid to draw them because I'm not sure about my own skill, I'm currently painting a turtle, and I'm going to take these tips into account, definitely, I recently decided to draw more seriously and actively try to sell my artwork so I must get better and take steps and tips...
