Will Excalibur Prime ever Comeback? (Official Response)

I asked to take a video so people could let this question finally die. I was not interviewing or anything. It was a bunch of us, devs and players at an after party. The conversation came up and I expressed how players get when its brought up. Rebecca answered the question off camera. I then asked if i could record and post it so the question can finally stop as its officially coming from her.

As much as I constantly regret not picking up a founders pack when I had the chance, I agree that ExcalP should remain exclusive to those people that backed and believed in the game when nobody else did. They deserve to have him.

Teaming up with founders is quite rare these days.

I have no problem with this I respect the founders they purchased a overpriced starter pack for a game that could’ve died in the next week but yet they still bought it mad respect.

Id love to have excal prime but id like it more if they honored the first people. It wouldnt feel right getting excal prime if I wasnt one unless they brought out a hundred mission sortie each year you had to complete in one day which was close to impossible to beat. But if you promise the first people unique items you dont fuck with promises like that. So im glad they dont plan to

It upsets me, that back then I was too young to be a founder and therefore could not aquire an Excalibur Prime.

And I play this game since the its very first open version.

It's been 4 years and people are still bitching about this? Excalibur Prime is exclusive to the founders. They supported the game early on before we had any idea if it would last or be any good. For that faith and sacrifice, they deserve something exclusive.

I say this as someone who DIDNT become a founder, and i regret it so freakin much, but i'm also not closed-mined enough to think they should re-release excal prime.
