While I shouldn’t have hope for live action anime, this one gives me hope BECAUSE Oda was involved. And we have had some decent live action anime like the Bleach movie from Japan.

I'm glad i'm not the only person who found this drama utterly ridiculous. I have a feeling that the people who were outraged about it weren't even big fans of the show, as most One Piece fans i've had the fortune of speaking with have been very kind folks. Very welcoming too, as i'm still fairly new to the show (I mean- i'm fully caught up with the english dub, i've just been watching it for a far less amount of time lol. Started it in summer of 2021)

I'm mad they didn't recreate my favorite show to a T, to which I could not distinguish it from the animated version without looking and saying, "Ahhh, those are really actors and not animated" then getting angry that Netflix didn't animate their recreation of my favorite show so it could fit to a T.

I’m ngl, I thouget the controversy was that Usopp’s already built like he’s Post Time Skip lmaoo. Mans got a pretty good build. Didn’t even recognize the shoes cause who the fuck cares?
